The Network & Systems team is responsible for the physical and logical infrastructure that underpins every IT service on campus, including the campus backbone network, data center operations, server virtualization, storage, and cloud connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Network Infrastructure — switching, routing, firewall, and wireless LAN management
- Data Center Operations — rack, power, cooling, and physical security for all on-premises systems
- Server & Virtualization — VMware vSphere clusters, Windows Server, and Linux workloads
- Cloud Connectivity — Azure and AWS interconnects, ExpressRoute, and hybrid identity
- DNS / DHCP / IPAM — authoritative DNS zones, DHCP scopes, and IP address management
