Overview

The campus VPN (GlobalProtect) provides a secure, encrypted connection to internal network resources when you are working off-campus. You will need the VPN to reach:

  • Internal file shares and department drives
  • Systems accessible only on the campus network (e.g., ERP, certain databases)
  • Remote Desktop connections to campus workstations

Note: Starting April 20, 2026, MFA will be required for all VPN logins. Make sure you have registered an MFA method at identity.example.edu before then.
