Current Status: Degraded
The faculty SSL-VPN gateway (vpn.example.edu) is currently experiencing elevated latency (300–700 ms) and intermittent connection drops. Users may notice slow performance or unexpected disconnections when connected over VPN.
The issue was first reported at 8:45 AM on March 30, 2026. The Infrastructure team is actively investigating.

Recommended Workaround
If you can complete your work on-campus, connecting to the network locally will bypass the affected gateway entirely. Off-campus users experiencing severe drops may wish to retry periodically while the investigation continues.
